Intelligence for the roads ahead.

MAARG Technologies builds AI and hardware systems for real-world infrastructure. Our first product, MAARG Intelligence, brings adaptive signals, emergency green corridors and incident awareness to Indian cities.

[01]The name

Maarg means path.

In Sanskrit and Hindi, maarg is the way from one place to another. It is what the company works on, and how it wants to work: with a clear direction, one step at a time.

The mark shows the same idea. A road winds through a rising sun towards the horizon, the long view kept in sight while the next turn is taken with care.

Mission

We exist to build intelligent systems that make everyday infrastructure safer, faster and fairer to use.

Vision

We are working towards cities whose roads and services respond to people as things happen, not months later.

[02]MAARG Intelligence

One platform for a city's roads.

Six modules for signals, cameras, sensors, message boards and operators. A city can start with one corridor and one module, and add the rest as it grows.

  1. 01

    Adaptive Signal Control

Retimes signals continuously from live demand and coordinates them along corridors.

    Used byTraffic engineers and police

  2. 02

    Emergency Green Corridor

Reserves a route for an ambulance or fire engine and turns junctions green ahead of it.

Used byEmergency services and control rooms

  3. 03

    Incident & Congestion Detection

Spots slow traffic, queues and incidents in real time so operators can respond and divert.

    Used byTraffic police operations

  4. 04

    Commuter Information

Publishes congestion, diversions, parking and road conditions to message signs, apps and navigation providers.

Used byCommuters and city communications teams

  5. 05

    Enforcement Support

Detects violations such as red-light running, speeding, wrong-way driving and missing helmets, and flags them as evidence for officer review.

    Used byTraffic police

  6. 06

    Command & Control Platform

Brings every module onto one platform in Traffic Command and Control Centres, with data-centre and disaster-recovery support.

    Used byCity operations

[03]From street to signal

Every system follows the same road.

  1. 01

    Sense

Cameras, vehicle detectors and controllers report what is happening at each junction.

  2. 02

    Understand

Computer vision and data models turn raw feeds into vehicles, queues, speeds and incidents.

  3. 03

    Decide

Control logic chooses signal timings, corridor priorities and alerts, within rules engineers set.

  4. 04

    Act

Signals change, green corridors open, and operators get the incidents that need a person.

  5. 05

    Inform

Message signs, apps and navigation partners tell people what changed and what to do.

Traffic on a rainy night in Delhi

Indian roads don't follow a timetable.

[04]Four signs we work by

  • Progress you can measure

We agree what success looks like before we build, measure against it, and publish only results we can stand behind.

  • Safety before speed

Systems that touch public roads are designed around failure, privacy and human oversight from the first sketch.

  • Direction over hype

We say plainly what is built, what is in pilot and what is still a plan.

  • Built to coordinate

Open standards, existing equipment and the people already running the roads. We fit into a city rather than replace it.

[05]Where we work

One line, many stops.

  • Urban mobility and smart cities

    Adaptive, corridor-coordinated signals and a city-wide command-and-control platform.

    Current focus
  • Traffic police and road safety

Real-time incident detection, and computer-vision violation detection that flags evidence for officers.

    Current focus
  • Emergency services

Green corridors that reserve a route and turn junctions green ahead of the vehicle.

    Current focus
  • Highways and expressways

Incident detection and driver information adapted from the urban platform.

    Exploring
  • Public transport and logistics

Signal priority and corridor data for fleets, built on the same platform.

    Exploring
  • Campuses, parking and facilities

Vision-based counting, parking availability and guidance signage.

[07]Where we are on the road

  1. Now

Building MAARG Intelligence — simulation, signal control, computer vision and the operations platform.

  2. Next

First pilot corridors with city and police partners, measured against how those roads perform today.

  3. Later

City-scale rollouts, and new AI and hardware products for other kinds of infrastructure.
